What to include in a bug report
- Whether you were using the standalone calculator or using it inside ChatGPT.
- Your browser or app, device type, and the visible calculator version, if available.
- The steps that caused the issue and the exact error message.
- For an arithmetic issue, a non-sensitive example of the inputs, units, and result you expected.
A screenshot is optional. Crop out other conversations, names, account information, and personal details before sending it. Do not send medical history, patient records, payment details, passwords, or access tokens.
Common questions
What does the calculator calculate?
It divides a user-supplied peptide mass by a user-supplied final total solution volume, and displays concentration in mg/mL and mcg/mL. It does not select either quantity or determine whether a preparation is appropriate.
Why does it ask for final solution volume?
The calculation uses the total final volume. That is not necessarily identical to the amount of liquid added. If the final volume is unknown, the calculator cannot determine it from the added-liquid amount alone.
Why did a value change when I changed units?
The form converts a populated field to preserve the same quantity. For example, it converts mass between mg and mcg and volume between mL and microliters. Recalculate afterward to update the displayed concentration.
Do the syringe choices change the result?
No. Those choices update the equipment reference only. The illustrations show scale endpoints and do not determine a dose, injection volume, smaller graduations, or a device suitable for a particular purpose.
Why is there an approximation symbol?
The display uses up to 12 significant digits. An approximation indication appears when a displayed result has been rounded. Display precision does not establish the accuracy of the quantities entered.
Why is Share with chat missing or unavailable?
This control is available when the calculator is connected to a supporting ChatGPT host and a result is present. A standalone browser calculation does not have a chat connection. If sharing fails, the displayed local calculation remains usable. Only an explicit press of Share with chat sends a manually entered result, formula, and assumptions through that control.
Does Reset delete a ChatGPT conversation?
No. Reset clears the visible calculator form and result. It does not delete an existing conversation, a result already shared with ChatGPT, clipboard contents, or an email. See calculator privacy for the data flows and controls.
